A brand is all the positive attributes, both tangible and intangible, that spring to mind around the brand name. It’s a promise of what you can expect from that product, service or experience. It can express what you think, How you feel and what you want to say about yourself.
WHY BRAND?
A brand adds value to what you offer, it can make you stand out from the crowd, it can build relationships with your customers. Product features are important but competitors can quickly copy them. It’s often the emotional attributes that differentiate you and are more sustainable. Consumers are willing to pay more for branded goods than unbranded ones.
HOW DO YOU CREATE ONE?
Brands are built on the basis of a big idea. In order to be successful the big idea must come from the heart, if you don’t believe in your big idea who else will? The big idea together with other key ingredients define what the brand stands for, where it is going and how it will get there.
